Kankeiren is authorized to operate as a public interest incorporated association on April 1.  The Public Interest Corporation Commission, a governmental council for public interest corporation system reform, recognized that our organization's main activities serve for the public interest purposes, and so meet the criteria established by the "Act on Authorization of Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Incorporated Foundations".
